December 13th, 2010 Scarred Dragon PaintingThis one took a while to finish. To show some of the detail I have also included a close up crop of the picture that show off some of the details in the eye and the scales. The close up crop is close to 75% zoom in of the actual size of the painting.

Thanks! Most of the paintings that I have created do have a lot of detail in them. I usually create them to be printed in a large poster size and even that isn’t really full sized. On here it’s hard to show all the detail and depth in a way that you can really get a feel for the whole scope of the art work. There really isn’t anything like seeing it in a print.
